Breccia Oniciata Marble

Breccia Oniciata Marble is a brecciated stone with fragmented clasts, warm cream and beige matrix, and veining reminiscent of onyx patterning. Its textured, mosaic-like appearance is excellent for luxe tabletops, statement walls, and decorative panels requiring organic, geological interest.

Breccia Oniciata combines brecciated geological textures—broken fragments and angular clasts—with onyx-like translucency in places. The result is a visually rich stone where composition, mineral veining, and occasional crystalline pockets create an almost collage-like surface. Colors range from warm creams and beiges to honey and amber, and some slabs display translucent veins suitable for backlighting.

Architectural uses emphasize visual complexity: bespoke bar fronts, bookmatched lobby murals, sculptural tabletops, and decorative wall panels. When backlit, thin sections reveal internal depth and create an onyx-like glow for luxurious installations. For flooring, Breccia Oniciata works best in formal, low-traffic areas where its complexity can be appreciated and protected.

Fabrication: brecciated stones often contain natural voids and fissures—resin impregnation, careful cutting, and rigorous polishing protocols are standard. Layup planning and vein alignment matter less in some breccias because the pattern is inherently fragmented; nevertheless, matching for color continuity is still recommended. Due to potential thinness in parts, use 3 cm thickness for horizontal surfaces and ensure robust substrate support.

Maintenance: apply penetrating sealers, use pH-neutral cleaners, and expect occasional spot repairs. Because of its decorative quality, Breccia Oniciata is frequently employed in tailored, signature installations where it functions as a visual centerpiece and receives higher maintenance and protective detailing.
