Alabaster White refers to stones with alabaster-like translucency and warm, creamy tones. These stones are often softer and more fragile than true marbles and may contain characteristic bands or subtle veining. The most compelling use of alabaster-style stone is where thin-slab translucency and backlighting create dramatic, warm glows—reception fronts, lamp shades, vanity backdrops, and decorative partitions.

Material behavior: softer and more porous than typical marbles, requiring delicate handling, resin stabilization in fabrication, and protective measures for horizontal use. Alabaster-like stones are not suitable for heavy-traffic floors or heavy-duty countertops without reinforcement or protective overlays.
Design uses: thin panels for wall features, backlit bar faces, illuminated signage, and craft furniture veneers. When used horizontally, protect surfaces with glass or tempered resin coatings. For exterior use, these stones are generally discouraged unless in fully sheltered conditions due to weather susceptibility.
Technical notes: fabrication often includes lamination to a backing panel or resin impregnation for strength. Use low-heat, low-pressure lighting behind thin slabs to preserve material integrity. Clean with pH-neutral products and avoid abrasive scrubbing. When the brief calls for warmth, glow, and delicacy rather than abrasion resistance, Alabaser White delivers a uniquely luminous finish.
